A licensed educator, respected broadcaster, columnist, and a passionate education reform advocate. With 17 years of teaching experience and nine years in journalism, Coach Jet has built a reputation for being humorous, folksy, and incisive. He is one of the pioneer members of the Philippine Advocates for Consultants and Trainers, Inc. (PACT), currently serving as the treasurer. Despite his busy schedule as a college professor and journalist, Coach Jet accepts speaking engagements and training invitations from various entities.
Coach Jet has received numerous recognitions from award-giving bodies, schools, and other organizations for his expertise. He is also a vlogger on YouTube, delivering news and commentaries on national issues and education-related topics through his channel, Spox Jet Channel.
His corporate experience includes being a full-time faculty member of the IASTE at Paranaque City College, a disc jockey for DYME 783 Masbate, a broadcaster for DWDD 1134 kHZ, and a columnist for “The Ilocano Educator” in the Ilocos Sentinel. He has previously served as a faculty member and corporate communications associate at MFI Polytechnic Institute, Inc. (2017-2020), training and communications manager at JFER Training and Development Services (2019-2023), lecturer at MSA Academic Advancement Institute D. Tuazon Branch, high school teacher at Holy Family Parochial School (2010), warehouse man at E.G. Ramos Manufacturing Corporation (2009-2010), and purchasing clerk at E.G. Ramos Manufacturing Corporation (2006-2007).
Coach Jet’s professional affiliations include being the current treasurer of the Philippine Advocates for Consultants and Trainers, Inc., a member of the National Press Club Philippines, the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster sa Pilipinas, and the Pampelikulang Samahan ng mga Dalubguro.
